Annual Programming Series


In addition to special events happening throughout the year, the National Baseball Hall of Fame offers these special programs annually:

Cabin Fever Film Series (Fridays in January and February)

In conjunction with the Fenimore Art Museum and the Glimmerglass Opera, this program brings exciting movies to Cooperstown every Friday night through the months of January and February free of charge!

Extra Innings Overnight (Dates in March and November)

Be one of the lucky few to spend a night with baseball's legends! Children ages 7-12 can sleep in the Hall of Fame Gallery among the plaques honoring Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Jackie Robinson and the rest of baseball's greats. The evening includes all-access to the museum’s public areas after-hours, special hands-on programs throughout the museum, and a late-night snack and a movie in the Bullpen Theater. Youth Baseball Week (April)

Looking for a fun spot to take the family during spring break? Why not try the Hall of Fame? Each year during school spring break the museum offers interactive programs designed for families every day, as well as several special programs during the week.

Authors Series (June, July, August)

Our Authors Series brings noted baseball authors to Cooperstown for special lectures and book signings during the summer months.

All-Star Gala (July)

Join the excitement and entertainment as the Hall of Fame hosts the annual All-Star Game Gala. The night includes games, prizes, food, entertainment, and, of course, live coverage of the All-Star Game on the big screen in the Grandstand Theater.

Character and Courage Weekend (October)

Columbus Day Weekend in Cooperstown is among the most beautiful time of year to visit Cooperstown. During this special time, the Hall of Fame celebrates Character and Courage, two defining themes that encompass the mission of the Hall of Fame, and the lives of three of the Hall’s most renowned members, Roberto Clemente, Lou Gehrig, and Jackie Robinson.

World Series Gala (October)

Enjoy the excitement of the Fall Classic on the big screen at the Hall of Fame in one of our favorite annual family events. The evening is sure to entertain with refreshments, trivia, raffles, prizes and live coverage of the World Series!
