Overnight Program for Kids in November

(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – Cooperstown is the home of baseball, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is giving children the chance to feel right at home amidst heroes and history.

The Hall of Fame will host its Extra Innings Overnight program Nov. 13 and 20th, giving kids nine-and-over the chance to spend an unforgettable night in the Museum.

Children will arrive at the Museum by 7 p.m. and have the opportunity to sleep in the Plaque Gallery after a fun-filled evening at the Hall of Fame. Guests can explore the Museum after hours, watch a movie or baseball game in the Bullpen Theater, have an evening snack and morning breakfast and receive a Hall of Fame back sack filled with mementos.

Cost is $49.95 for juniors, $39.95 for adults. Nov. 13 is for youth groups only, while Nov. 20 is for Museum Members and their families only. The Hall of Fame will also host more Extra Innings Overnight programs in March. For more information, call 607-547-0312.

Members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum receive free daily admission to the Museum, as well as access to exclusive programs, such as the Voices of the Game Series. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Museum is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. seven days a week. The Museum observes off-season hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. from the day after Labor Day until Memorial Day Weekend. Ticket prices are $16.50 for adults (13 and over), $11 for seniors (65 and over) and for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations, and $6 for juniors (ages 7-12). Members are always admitted free of charge and there is no charge for children 6 years of age or younger.
