Ford Motor Company has been the Presenting Sponsor for Hall of Fame Classic Weekend since the event was established in 2009. Held on Father’s Day Weekend, events have included the Hall of Fame Classic, a seven-inning legends game featuring seven Hall of Famers and 20 other retired major league stars, a Hall of Fame Golf tournament fundraiser, a Family Catch on Doubleday Field, a Youth Skills Clinic, and the Cooperstown Game Day Parade. Ford has also generously provided trucks for the "Parade of Legends" on Induction Weekend.
Shortly after Henry Ford began his enterprise in 1903, he said, "A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business." He was referring to the obligation of companies, not only to create good products for their customers, but also to share good works and goodwill. That is precisely the goal of Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services—to support initiatives and institutions that enhance and improve opportunities for those who live in the communities where Ford Motor Company operates.Ford Motor Company on FacebookFord Motor Company on TwitterFord Motor Company on YouTubeFord Motor Company on Flickr
