Records hold a special place in the hearts and minds of baseball fans. Some records approach mythical status... Cy Young's 511 wins, Joe DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak, Nolan Ryan's 7 no-hitters and Rickey Henderson's 1,406 career stolen bases are just a few examples. One for the Books explores the stories behind the records of the Game.
One for the Books will give millions of fans the opportunity to learn about baseball’s hallowed records through interactive technology, dynamic multi-media presentations and more than 200 compelling artifacts representing baseball’s most memorable moments.

One for the Books, is the most interactive and technologically advanced permanent exhibit in the Museum's 71-year history. 1,537 square feet of exhibit space includes sections focusing on batting, pitching, fielding, baserunning and team records. In addition to the artifacts, the exhibit includes in-case motion picture presentations, interactive trivia stations and the Digital Top 10 Tower.
